Leigh Drogen is the founder of Surfview Capital, an asset management firm located in New York.   Leigh runs long/short and momentum strategies which both take positions across several different asset classes.

The Surfview Capital trading strategy is based on a Donchian Channel breakout system. Potential positions are screened for liquidity, market cap (over 300m), various fundamental and technical factors, and correlation to other portfolio positions.

This strategy capitalizes on intermediate term trends while effectively cutting losses from failed breakouts. Momentum is the name of the game here and discipline is paramount in order to maximize profit. Volatility weighted position sizes and stops are used to normalize risk across the portfolio.
